Psalm 68:5-10

⁵ A father to the fatherless,^(A) a defender of widows,^(B)
    is God in his holy dwelling.^(C)
6 God sets the lonely^(D) in families,^[a](E)
    he leads out the prisoners^(F) with singing;
    but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.^(G)

⁷ When you, God, went out^(H) before your people,
    when you marched through the wilderness,^[b](I)
8 the earth shook,^(J) the heavens poured down rain,^(K)
    before God, the One of Sinai,^(L)
    before God, the God of Israel.^(M)
9 You gave abundant showers,^(N) O God;
    you refreshed your weary inheritance.
¹⁰ Your people settled in it,
    and from your bounty,^(O) God, you provided^(P) for the poor.
